Grow Eco Baby specializes in cloth diapers, eco-products and baby carriers! We order Fidella baby carriers on the First Friday of each month and can order Tula Baby Carriers and Little Frog Wraps & Ring Slings at any time. We also have a baby wearing 101 class each month! Shiny Star Designs is a company born out of babywearing love. We are a military and WAHM owned business who travel the world while babywearing, learning the ways it can help every family and every baby. We currently offer wrap conversion full buckles, mei tais, podaegis, ring slings, and reverse half buckles.
Hike It Baby is a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting families to nature. Each branch hosts a variety of hikes and outdoor events for caregivers and children of all ages, everything from adult paced hikes for caregivers with babies in carriers, to short strolls to grab food or drink before heading to a park, to toddler led hikes! Welcome Baby is committed to helping strengthen families with young children, ages 0-5, living in Durham County. That help includes phone support, developmental newsletters, parenting classes and many other resources. Some classes include education on babywearing, and baby carriers are included in the Giving Closet program.

The goal of the Carrying On Project is to help get carriers to the families of our military so that they may better obtain secure attachments with their children, something that deployment and injuries will often interrupt. We seek to assist both the service members and the families left behind in “Carrying On” while both home and away, to make something that is difficult for the whole family a little bit easier.

Charlotte: Charlotte Metro Babywearers
We welcome seasoned babywearers, newbies, even expectant parents! Please bring your baby slings and carriers if you would like help. You will be able to try on one of many different types of carriers to see what works best for you. Daddies are welcome, too!
Show/tell/share meet-ups will be approximately one day each month.We’ll add babywearing walks/hikes when the weather is nice and other events at the suggestion of members. We also have a lending library so you can try out a variety of styles – currently including: Maya Wrap Ring Sling, Storch Woven Wrap, Moby Wrap, Ergo Baby Carrier, Ergo Infant Insert, BabyHawk Mei Tei, and Boba Baby Carrier.
Eastern NC: Eastern NC Babywearers
To share the joy associated with babywearing with new and experienced parents. We strive to teach the skills needed to wear your children successfully and safely. Meetings will provide you with a place for discussion and a chance to try different carriers and carries. It will be a great opportunity to meet other parents and to ask questions.
Triad Area: Triad Tot Toters
Triad Tot Toters is a group of babywearing moms and dads in the Triad area of North Carolina. We welcome veteran babywearers, parents interested in wearing their child, or even pregnant women looking forward to the joys of wearing their upcoming arrival! We are also very proud of our ever-growing lending library of carriers. If you are interested in trying something new, but hesitant to put down such a large amount of money on something you are unsure about, take it home for a couple of weeks and try it out.
